Here at Samuel Staniforth we have a systematic habit and culture of high quality and reliability. Quality runs through the veins of the organisation and has done so for over 150 years and we do our absolute best to provide you with the finest products in the market. So therefore should you be unhappy with the quality of the materials used or you believe the state of the workmanship is poor we are more than happy to replace the item or refund the cost of the product.

We will not however replace or refund purchases where there is evidence a product has been misused or mistreated. For example, using a knife as a pry bar or placing excessive force on a knife causing it to snap.

All products will be examined by experts carefully to ensure a fair outcome can be established.

Please  note:

- Smithfield knives are not dishwasher safe.
The dish washer exposes knives to "metal-to-metal" contacts which significantly reduce their cutting capacity. Moreover, detergent products (washing products, salt, rinsing liquid, etc.) create chemical reactions with metal of the blades that may damage them.
 

Care instructions:

- Table knives should be cleaned with warm soapy water and a spong (without scourer). You must never use abrasive pads which create deep scratches and remove the blade' brightness.

Rinse your knives with warm water before wiping it and carefuly store them to guarantee a extended lifetime.

- Table knives sharpening should be made with a sharpening steel.
